I draw with a 0.5mm BIC pencil on computer copy paper. Often I will use the white Gelly Roll for highlights and less often I will use Staedtler and Micron pens for inks and Blick Studio markers for colors.

Most often I will color digitally using a very cool and legal copy of Photoshop CS2 that Adobe generously gifted to the internet many years ago.

The three biggest influences on my art in current year are Thomas Fluharty, Jason Latour and Mike Mignola. I often find myself attempting to emulate at least one of them when working through a drawing, whether it be the expressive shape work of Tom, the wild-eyed cartooning work of Jason, or the bare-bones essential line work of Mr. Mignola. Quick honorable mentions would be artists such as Bill Sienkiewicz, Bill Watterson, Jamie Hewlett, Dan Panosian and many others.

I only draw as a hobby and my full time career is unrelated to art. I appreciate any interest soliciting me for commissions and project ideas but I’m afraid I am unable to commit.
